My career has been a long career as a player winning some trophies and personal awards as playing in Europe and scoring near a goal per game. I can say I have enjoyed my days as a footballer. I played for Banik Ostrava for 10 years between 1976 and 1986 where my children Marcel and Mario would play later for. 3 Leagues and 3 cups have been our achievements during that time. For my country I played 28 games between 1978 and 1983 scoring 9 goals and we won the Olimpic Games in Moskva in 1980. 

As a footballer I just thought the game was not over when I got retired and went into Coaching and Management. A few clubs and good results brought good achiviements in the table. As a footballer I think the biggest pleasure I had is not just playing in the UEFA and scoring lots of goals in my case my biggest pleasure has been watching my two kids success  in football and follow my steps. It just makes my football career extended this way for much longer!

Now I am the G. Manager Banik Ostrava since May 1st 2007 and I am pleased to be back at home again and help the club achieve new targets and goals in the near future. My family has been very involved in Banik Ostrava so being there means a lot to us. I hope I can show you some of our success in the web soon.

My son Marcel is playing in Spain in third division where he loves the game and my son Mario is enjoying English football with Southampton who almost got the promotion last season and will try again. Both are very technical midfielders.
